A new collaboration between "atmos" and "adidas Originals" has resulted in the "PREDATOR MEGARIDE “BLUE SPIRIT”," a hybrid model incorporating multiple shades of blue.
This shoe combines the "PREDATOR," a classic soccer cleat from "adidas," with the "MEGARIDE," a running shoe that debuted in the 2000s and featured a unique sole unit.
This special edition, titled "BLUE SPIRIT," blends blue, the brand color of both "atmos" and "adidas Originals," to represent a ripple effect spreading across the world.
The upper design incorporates elements of the "PREDATOR ABSOLUTE," a shoe favored by star players from various countries at an international soccer tournament held in 2006, and features Predator Rubber, a part designed to improve shooting accuracy. The color scheme is based on a deep blue with metallic accents.
The back of the fold-over tongue is engraved with "atmos 25th Anniversary" to commemorate atmos's 25th anniversary this year. The insole is printed with a lock-up logo symbolizing the partnership between atmos and adidas Originals. The heel features the logo of "Teamgeist," the official ball developed by adidas for international tournaments, and the outsole is equipped with a "MEGARIDE" sole only on the rear, emphasizing the spiked look. This special edition blends soccer culture and street culture, looking ahead to next year's international tournaments.
While rooted in soccer cleats, this shoe transcends the pitch and is elevated to a new level of street fashion, embodying the "spirit of all people striving on all fields" woven by the color "blue."
